About Us

Ganbu Country is more than just a business—it’s a movement committed to nurturing the deep connections between culture, community, and Country.
Founded by Skye Hunter, a proud Taungurung woman, of the Kulin Nation.
Our mission focuses on conserving the threatened Box Ironbark forest while empowering First Nations people through self-determination and sovereignty.
We merge traditional Indigenous knowledge with modern, innovative practices to create sustainable solutions that honor our heritage and align with our values. Through environmental restoration, sustainable agriculture, and the development of native ingredient-based products, we’re building a future that is both self-sufficient and community-driven.
Our skincare range, crafted with native plants harvested from Taungurung Country, reflects the harmony between ancient wisdom and contemporary innovation. At Ganbu Country, we envision thriving ecosystems, self-determined communities, and a shared knowledge that uplifts and inspires. Together, we’re creating a legacy where land, culture, and sovereignty are deeply interconnected and celebrated.
